Disney Princess Birthday Party | Hot Springs, AR
This was the day that I felt like all of my childhood dreams came true! Allee celebrated her 6th birthday surrounded not only by her family and friends but also two of her favorite princesses- Cinderella and Elsa!
They booked the princesses through a company in Little Rock called Fancyful Parties. The princesses looked as if they just stepped out of a Disney book!

The party started off with a small outdoor photoshoot of the birthday girl with her parents and then with her friends who were all dressed up as princesses. After that we moved to the party room where each of the girls decorated their own tiaras.
As the girls were finishing up their tiaras Cinderella and Elsa came into the room where they were welcomed with a loud gasp from each girl (and parents).
They presented a white rose to Allee and told her if she whispers into that flower, they can hear her no matter where they are in the world. Cinderella and Elsa read books to the kids, sang songs, dances, taught princess etiquette, and let them make a wish with magic fairy dust.
After that the princesses took pictures with each girl and whoever else wanted their picture with them. (Yes, I took a selfie with Elsa and Cinderella and no, I didn’t feel bad about it!) Allee’s Mom even took her picture with them too. She was just as ecstatic about this party as Allee was! It was fun to watch her reactions as the princesses sang and danced. The final event with the princesses was when they sang happy birthday to Allee.
The cake was exquisite!
Allee’s friend’s Mom, Becca, made it and did such an amazing job! Not only was it beautiful, it tasted amazing! I was blown away when Allee’s mom told me she does that as a hobby and has had no professional training on cake decorating.
With being a boy Mom, I don’t get to be around frilly things, but today I was able to embrace all of the girly things with Allee and her friends. Being the Disney fan that I am, I was just as excited about this birthday party as Allee (and her Mom) were!
Doing birthday parties are so special to me. I felt honored to document this very special day not only for Allee but also her parents. They were able to be in the moment and enjoy the party without having to worry about documenting the day or viewing Allee’s party through a screen.
This was such a magical day!
