There’s nothing more romantic than having a photo shoot with the love of your life at sunset! That’s exactly what Courtney and Matt did at the lovely Lake Degray State Park.

Courtney is my wonderfully talented hairdresser whom I am incredibly thankful for!! At my last hair appointment, we talked about doing a photoshoot because she wanted photos that she can hang up in her new house. Of course, I said YES we should do a photoshoot! We brainstormed a place that would be fun, intimate, and romantic. That’s when we decided on Lake Degray at sunset.  

The weather was absolutely perfect for us to take photos in! The lake was slightly chilly, but just warm enough that Courtney and Matt could get in for some photos. I was able to capture their fun personalities but also their devoted love for one another. 

I have two pictures that are tied for my top favorite picture from their photoshoot:

1) Matt holding Courtney in the lake with the sunset behind them.

2) Courtney sitting in front of Matt kissing.

These pictures are not only sexy and intimate but also show just how much they love one another. 

This was such a fun photoshoot! I was able to get to know Courtney better and meet Matt. I enjoyed being around them so much. Their laughs and joy are contagious. My face was hurting on my way home from laughing so much. It was great to be out at the lake. We saw so many beautiful birds and enjoyed a perfect evening.
