This beautiful wedding took place at the gorgeous Garvan Woodland Gardens in Hot Springs, Arkansas. I love that they were not only surrounded by their closest friends and family but also by the natural beauty all around the beautiful Garvan Woodland Gardens. Their closest friends also surrounded them during the wedding. Brady’s Best Woman was his best friend from college. Shannon’s Dude of Honor was her best friend throughout her life.
Family traditions were included in the ceremony and in the special, well-thought-out details. Brady’s Scottish heritage was included in his suit and his beautifully unique wedding ring. Shannon’s ring was a generational ring passed down from Brady’s Mom that he redesigned to make it special for Shannon. How special is that?! Including something that was so special from his first love (Mom) to his forever love (wife). The personalization they had throughout the wedding and reception put such a unique touch to their perfect day. The wine was personalized with pictures of the couple. My favorite personalization was the book of vows. It’s so thoughtful to keep their special promises to one another in a book that they can cherish for a lifetime.
The reception was so much fun dancing, laughing, and enjoying the company of the happy couple. Pine Hill Estates was not only where the couple got ready for the wedding but also hosted the reception. This luxurious lakefront estate was the perfect mixture of comfort and elegance. The lakefront on Lake Hamilton made for such a beautiful backdrop for the couple’s pictures.
Photographing weddings is one of my favorite types of photoshoots! Seeing a couple start their forever together is such a special moment! I love seeing the joy, excitement and hope for their future not only on the faces of the happy couple but also on the faces of those who are close to the couple. It is one of the great joys of being a wedding photographer to watch a couple promise their forever to one another.
Shannon and Brady, thank you for an incredible day. Watching the two of you love each other through every moment sparked even more love for my own husband. You two are each other's pillars, rock, safe place, and best friends. Everyone can see that and I loved photographing it. Your wedding day was truly magical!
