There was a little bit of fear at the beginning of the day with scattered thunderstorms, but thankfully the storm passed quickly and we were able to enjoy the lovely outdoor ceremony.
With the slight overcast, it made the perfect lighting for me! This is the kind of day that every photographer dreams of with the perfect amount of sunlight.
Keisha was the most relaxed bride I have ever photographed. She was just so excited to marry Ty that not even the weather bothered her. We were able to get some fun photos of Keisha and her bridesmaids after the rain subsided. They all wore matching pajamas while they snacked on fruit cups as they got ready. It was so fun to hangout and laugh with them.
I have three favorite parts about this particular wedding:
When Keisha had the first look with her Dad. This was such a touching moment when he looked at her in her beautiful dress and got emotional. He immediately gave her a warm embrace as he tried to control his emotions as he realized his little girl was all grown up. This was particularly special for them because when they adopted her as a little girl they knew that she was the perfect daughter for them. It was so special to see the love that Keisha’s parents have for her as they gave her away to Ty.
When Ty had his first look with Keisha. Ty stood on the deck overlooking the mountains where they were to say their vows to one another. He faced towards the mountains with his back to Keisha and as soon as he heard her footsteps he became overwhelmed with emotions. As soon as he turned around he was in complete awe filled with excitement that Keisha was going to be his wife soon. They took this moment to talk about how excited they were for this day and how much they loved one another.
When Keisha and Ty had their first dance. This was such a beautiful moment for the bride and groom to spend some quality time embracing one another and telling each other how much they love one another. This moment was made even more special as Keisha’s three siblings sang this special song for them as they danced.
