HoneyBook is a one-stop-shop for all of my small business needs! It is so easy to use and extremely resourceful of my time and energy.
Let’s break it down some…
Easy To Use
This is very much a drag-and-drop type CRM. I’ve used a few other kinds that were a bit hard to understand and needed code to implement your own branding. Honeybook is not like that one bit. They have templates that you can customize to fit your business.
Keeps Track of my Workflow
You can customize your workflow tab and set your projects (aka your clients) to go to the next phase in your workflow once they have completed the steps before.
This comes in handy when you are juggling multiple clients and have different payments at different times. At a quick glance, you can see where everyone is at! It’s perfect!
Helps Streamline Business & Automation
Having written out the workflow of my business, I can now streamline parts that I used to have to do with every single client. Talk about time sucker.
Example: Templates both for creating packages and writing emails. HOneybook saves everything and you can just plug names and custom information where it needs to go and you’re good to go!
Invoicing and Collecting Payments
Before using Honeybook I struggled to keep all this under control. I had a Google sheet marking who paid, and how they paid if I needed to collect more payments. It was rough, to say the least!
Now, since using Honeybook… I’ve set up a template for my different packages which leads to my client selecting which package best meets their needs. Once they do that it leads them to an invoice page which breaks down all the package and payment information. From there they can set up an online payment for their deposit and an auto-pay for when the next payment is due.
This has been a game-changer! I now don’t miss payments (which sadly I did before). It’s also not a hassle for my clients because they can do it once and be done with it.

There’s nothing worse than knowing you need to do something in your business but having no idea where to start. That’s where templates come into play.

This is another thing I just absolutely love and makes the end of the year so much easier!!! Honeybook has an expense section where you can keep track of all your expenses.
My husband does our taxes and I don’t know about you but this can be a nightmare. So being able to just plug in my expenses and categorize them throughout the year makes tax time not so straining because it’s all set into place! Easy peasey!
Mini Sessions
This was a biggy for me as a photographer. I offer mini-sessions throughout the year and need an easy place for people to sign up and pick their spots.
Within Honeybook you can set up your mini-session date, time, and info. Send the link to your clients, and they click on which time works best for them, and then they will get an email with all the information.
Once I figured out that Honeybook offered this feature and I didn’t have to pay for another platform to do this… GAME CHANGER!
