5 Must-Have Apps Every Woman Should Use
As you know I’m all about saving time anyway I can! More importantly than saving time, I love to help YOU save time!
Why?
Well, time is everything! You only have so much of it so let’s make every second count!
Below is a list of my top 5 must-have apps that I use on the daily. Some help me streamline my everyday and some just help get me going. Either way, I can’t wait to share with you!
Walmart Clicklist
Yes, some of you may use this, some may be skeptical a bit. All I can say is this has been a GAME CHANGER for me and my family! Since moving to Nashville, I’m not sure I’ve actually been full on grocery shopping at the physical store.
How I Use It:
When I’m cooking dinner or any meals for that matter, as soon as I run out of something I pull up the app and load it to the cart. Same for household items. This insures, I’m not going to forget something on my list and better yet, I’m not wasting time searching for the right isle to grab that particular item.
*I will say, I do still go to the store to pick out my meats and some of my fresh fruit/veggie items. But, over all Clicklist has been one mega time saver for me!!
2. Sonos/Spotify/Pandora/Apple Music
(okay, this is four different ones, but I’ll explain below)
Now, I’m the type of person who LOVES to have music playing in the background. I feel like it does something to my soul and whether I’m having a good day or a bad day, music get's me going.
How I Use It:
We own a couple Sonos speakers and have them linked together and scattered throughout the house. Each morning I go to my Sonos app and turn on my playlist (I have a few different ones depending on my mood: upbeat, mood music, christian, country, etc.) although, that’s for when I’m in the house. Beings our Sonos speakers are hooked up inside the house, this doesn’t work for outside the home. So I’ll switch over to one of the others listed above. I’m telling you, having uplifting music will set the tone of your day. Yes, there’s a time for silence so you can think and for me that typically happens before the kids awake in the morning or during nap time, but once their up and moving around the playlist is on!
3. Marco Polo
Remember I talked about craving connection in my Instagram post? Well, this is a newer app to me but I’m LOVING it! There’s something about video that’s just better than a text. If your wondering if I always put myself together before I get on and start videoing my friends, no girl, I don’t. I like to be real and some days I just don’t have the energy or don’t get to that part of my routine before something else comes up.
How I Use It:
Checking in to say hi to friends is a daily, but recently I’ve been using it for fitness accountability. I created a group of a few other momma friends who are also doing 21 Day Fix, that way we can check in and help keep each other on track. It’s been working out GREAT for that!
4. Notes
Y’all! If you don’t use this app then YOU’RE MISSING OUT! I use this daily, wait, probably hourly! No seriously. This might have to do with my type-a personality and the love of organization, but it’s changed my life!
How I Use It:
I’ve created folders with three emojis in front of whatever that folder is called. Example: ### Hashtags, (3 little boys) Kayden sayings, (3 computer) Blogging, (3 shopping cart) Groceries, etc. Then within each folder I have different notes of whatever it is. So for my groceries folder. Within that folder I have Walmart, Target, Kroger, Sams, Go-To Meals. That way I know whenever I go to that store I already have my list for that particular store. This has been a time saver and keeps all alike things together in one place. Plus its a FREE app, which I’m all about!!
5. Podcasts
This app is opened daily okay I’ll admit it’s more like multiple times a day. I’m not sure why I never really used this before, but now I’m addicted!
How I Use It:
I have my go-to podcasts in my library. There’s honestly only a couple that I listen too. But that’s also because if I have to many then I tend to get overwhelmed. So until I catch up on all the episodes from these I won’t adventure out much unless it’s a topic that I really, really am curious about!
Categories my favorites are broken down into are… spiritual, business, not my reality (so basically an escape from my life to turn my brain off).
Typically I listen to these podcast while I’m doing something else. Again, I’m a time saver, so if I can do two things at once then it’s a win in my book!
Activities that I do while listening to podcasts may include: cooking, cleaning, folding laundry, driving, etc.
