My passions are photography, homesteading, and farming. When the rare occasion makes itself available to incorporate each of my passions I feel like my whole world is coming together!  And this year’s Easter Minis did not disappoint!

 
 

Easter Mini Session 2023 | Bismarck, AR

The day that we chose to do the Easter minis the weather was absolutely perfect. I could not have asked for a better day with the warm sunshine that I have been so desperately missing these last few months!

When I do Easter minis I chat with my own kids to see what they would like in a photoshoot like this. 

It was highly recommended by both my boys (ages 8 and 5)  that I buy baby chicks just for these photoshoots! Of course, I couldn’t say no to buying more chickens so I obliged my kids and headed to Tractor Supply! Buying the chicks ended up being a huge success. 

The kids were able to learn how to properly hold a chick and give it light snuggles. It was fun to watch them play with the chicks. Each child did a great job handling the chicks in different poses for me to photograph.

We were even able to incorporate the various colored eggs that our chickens produce in the photo shoot. I apologize to the parents who are now asked over and over if they can have their own chicks!

I love moments like this, capturing memories for families to share for a lifetime. I understand what it’s like to be a busy parent and planning a time for a professional photoshoot. I am thankful that my schedule allows me the time to invest in other families' special moments.

It was such a joy to watch the kids fall in love with farm life... Or at least farm animals! 

 After the photoshoots, the kids were able to play on the playground at our house and see the rest of our farm. I love that they were able to run free and just be kids. When my husband and I bought this farm, one of our biggest goals was to create a space for families to come and just relax making memories with their own families.
