Erica & Tyree | Hot Springs, Arkansas | Maternity Portraits
I had the absolute privilege of photographing this breathtaking maternity photoshoot for the lovely Sampson family, and I couldn't wait to share this heartwarming experience with you all!
With each click of the shutter, I witnessed the glow that surrounded Erica, as the soft sunlight embraced her with warmth and tenderness. It was a magical sight to behold.
I've been photographing this family for over four years and each session gets sweeter and sweeter.
The first photoshoot I did for Erica was when Kree was starting to be weaned from breastfeeding. Erica wanted to capture the last few moments of Kree being nurtured by Erica’s body.
Along with that photoshoot, we were able to capture moments of Kree starting to walk and other sweet moments that Erica wanted to treasure for a lifetime of Kree playing on our farm with rocks, pinecones, and sticks.
I love that she brought her bear (a reminder of her brother who lives in heaven) to help her feel comfortable while doing this photoshoot. As she warmed up to me and the farm, she was able to enjoy the wildflowers and dance in the field. Kree’s smile is contagious!
Last December we were able to do a Santa mini session and that is when Erica and Tyree announced they were expecting another baby!
This was such a sweet memory to share with them because I know of the heartache they have faced over the last few years. I was so excited to help them announce their third baby. They have two children on this side of heaven and one sweet boy waiting for them with Jesus.
I am looking forward to this coming December when I can do Santa mini’s with Kree and the new baby!
I loved that they chose Tyree to be in his Arkansas State Trooper uniform for this photoshoot! Not only is he willing to protect his family, but also everyone in the state of Arkansas. Tyree being in his work uniform put such a unique touch to their maternity session. Who knows, maybe Kree and the new baby will want to be police officers when they grow up too!

Thank you for trusting me with your memories and coming out to our farm. It has been such a joy to see your family grow over the last four years! I am so excited to meet your new baby and document the new memories that you will make as a family! We absolutely love you all!
