I had the most enchanting experience capturing the beauty of maternity in the breathtaking Garvan Woodland Gardens.

I just loved that Janetta found me through Google and Instagram. When she reached out to me about doing photoshoots I was so excited to meet her!

As a fellow entrepreneur, I was so excited to talk about her hairdresser business and her life!

Then she told me she was driving 4 hours just to come to do this photoshoot. I was more than honored! She mentioned that she wanted a specific look embracing nature so when I suggested Garvan Gardens she was ecstatic! 

Janetta has a thirteen-year-old daughter and now she is having a little boy. She wanted to capture these last few moments of carrying her precious boy inside of her. It was an absolute honor to witness motherhood's glowing essence and capture these precious moments for this incredible mom-to-be.

Unfortunately, there were some rain storms throughout this particular Saturday morning; however, we embraced the breaks between rain showers, which made the photoshoot even more memorable.

You can see the standing water in a few of the walk paths in the photos, but I think that just made the natural look Janetta was going for even more special. 

I am truly grateful to have been a part of this incredible journey and to have captured these precious moments for Janetta. The love and anticipation expressed during the session reminded me once again why I am so passionate about what I do. It is a privilege to freeze these moments in time, creating timeless memories that will be treasured for generations to come.
