Kayla and Rayce wanted to do something special for their sweet girl, Hartley for her first birthday. So they reached out to me to capture not only a beautiful family session but also the precious birthday girl.

I have known Kayla and Rayce forever! I had the privilege of photographing their five-year anniversary portraits. They have been married for a little over 10 years and now I get to photograph them as a family of 3.
This was such a fun photoshoot! I was able to capture the true bliss of parenthood that Kayla and Rayce are in. Sweet Hartley was so happy and silly throughout the photoshoot. It is so evident that this sweet girl is loved so dearly with the smiles that naturally spring to her face when she sees her parents. You can see the pure joy and love that this family has for one another.
They chose to do their photoshoot at our farm in Bismarck, AR and I think this was the perfect place for them because of how much Hartley loved being there. I loved watching her explore the pinecones and leaves. Her favorite place during the photo shoot was sitting on the ground making the leaves rustle underneath her. She inspected the pinecones quite intensely to try to figure out what they were about.
It was such a fun day to spend with my friend Kayla and her family. I love sharing in these moments of life.
My note to Hartley:
Sweet Hartley,
As you grow up, I pray that you continue to smile and light up the world around you. I hope that you know that you are a joy to be around. You are so incredibly loved by your parents and a blessing to those you meet.

Kayla and Rayce,
Thank you for entrusting me to capture these beautiful moments of parenthood. You are both doing an amazing job raising Miss Hartley! Enjoy each moment of parenthood (even the hard ones) because each moment is such a treasure.
