Exploring Hogwarts with Harry, Ron, Hermonie, Dumbledore and Hagrid is such a magical adventure that I would love to take part in; however, I got to explore an equally magical adventure with a wonderful family just as special.

Alyssa, Jacob, Lileigh, Abigail, and Graham were so much fun to photograph for this maternity portrait session. This family is filled with so much joy and excitement as they wait for Graham’s arrival in April. (Talk about a great Easter present!)

I had the privilege of being the photographer at Alyssa and Jacob’s wedding last year. It is such a joy to see couples after their wedding still madly in love just as they were on their wedding day. It is also wonderful to watch as their family grows.

They chose to do their photoshoot at our farm in Bismarck, AR. They wanted to have a natural setting because that embraces who they are, natural and fun. The girls loved exploring while Mom and Dad had their pictures taken by themselves. Lileigh and Abigail were so sweet throughout the photoshoot. They are both very excited to have a baby brother to love and spoil.

Alyssa is a huge Harry Potter fan. She and Jacob thought that decorating Graham’s nursery with that theme would be so much fun. Alyssa found an old dresser and repainted it so it will match the mystical nursery theme of Harry Potter. (I wish I had that kind of talent!) I foresee many nights that Alyssa will rock baby Graham to sleep while reading him the Harry Potter series.

Whether Graham chooses to be a Gryffindor, Ravenclaw, Hufflepuff, or Slytherin, I know he is going to be so incredibly loved by his Mom, Dad, and big sisters.
