A Magical Day at Royal Ridge Barn
The sun set. Lights twinkled. Gentle music filled the air.
Her joy radiated as she picked up the mic and started to speak. With her words, she painted a picture of true love, a love for the record-books. “You two are the perfect picture of marriage for us”, she said, as she set her gaze upon his grandparents.
It was time for the first dance. But this was no ordinary dance, this one, she explained, was dedicated to true love...and to the two couples who had taught them what it means to have a love story that withstands the test of time.
Then it was his turn. He accepted the mic from his gorgeous bride and turned the attention to her parents. With gratitude in his voice, he said, “This dance is for you. Happy 10-year Anniversary!”
Hearts were aglow as we all witnessed the magic of that moment. The years had come and gone; but for those 3 or so minutes, love was brand new. For a few moments in time, these precious couples glided across the dance floor, eyes fixed on their mate, as if they were the only ones in the room.
Simple words cannot begin to express what took place on that night. But if we had to use words, they’d sound something like GRACE, BEAUTY, MAGIC, LOVE.
