I received an email asking if I could photograph their elopement in downtown Hot Springs, Arkansas.

Elopements are one of my favorite types of events to photograph because they're intimate. There’s just something special about a small wedding in a destination city like Hot Springs Arkansas.

Driving to the location I was a tad nervous because the clouds were rolling in and it looked like it was going to storm. For a wedding photographer, that’s not good news! So my mind was going 100mph with backup plans on what to do.

Needless to say, once it was time for the actual ceremony, the rain held off and gave us a nice even light from head to toe. 

Alyssa and Jed said their “I do’s” and then the portraits began (one of my favorite parts)! The clouds parted and the sun came out. Everything was perfect and we were able to get some amazing photos that morning!

To the Davidson Family, thank you so much for allowing me to capture these precious memories for you! You two are so sweet, and I loved getting to know you guys! I can’t wait to see you all continue to grow together!
