Sharisse + Matthew | Lookout Point Boutique Inn | Destination Elopement

There’s an old wives tale that says if it rains on your wedding day then it will bring your marriage good luck because it means that your marriage will last. 

Sharisse and Matthew are going to be extremely blessed from the storm that came through the day we took elopement photos!

It had even stormed the night before but thankfully stopped for an hour and a half. This allowed just enough time to take some beautiful photos of the happy couple.

Sharisse and Matthew chose the most romantic location in Hot Springs, Arkansas - The Lookout Point Inn. Even with it being a rainy day, this was the perfect location for their intimate ceremony. 

The inn was gorgeous utilizing Lake Hamilton as the perfect background for photos. 

They brought their own vow book and rings. It was an intimate ceremony of just the two of them where they proclaimed their love to one another. They were able to take their time professing how much they mean to one another while without having to worry about anything else going on around them.

Sharisse was prepared when the rain started back up and had the cutest Kate Spade umbrella. The clear umbrella put such a unique touch to their special day! Not only will the umbrella be a great keepsake they can have for a lifetime, but it made the pictures even more special! It made for the perfect “picture-perfect” moment!

The elopement that took place at the Lookout Point Inn was just for the two of them. 

After the romantic photoshoot, they went to the courthouse to file the official paperwork. They will come back to Hot Springs in a month with their kids and dog for an elopement celebration. We will take the family photos at the beautiful Garvan Woodland Gardens in Hot Springs, Arkansas. With both Sharisse and Matthew being in the medical field, it is difficult to plan a weekend getaway. They are eagerly awaiting this elopement celebration in a month so they can enjoy happiness with their children.
