I love being involved in weddings that are unique and special.
That’s exactly what Lindsey and Blake did for their magical elopement at the gorgeous Garvan Woodland Gardens in front of their closest family and friends. The intimate ceremony took place in Hot Springs, Arkansas amidst the lush greenery and vibrant flowers of this stunning botanical oasis.

A few years ago Lindsey visited Historic Hot Springs with her friends for a “girlfriends weekend” and loved exploring Garvan Woodland Gardens.
As Lindsey and Blake discussed where to get married they were stumped on where to go because of all of the beautiful places they’ve visited over the years. That’s when her friends reminded her of the amazing trip to Hot Springs and how gorgeous the glass chapel was. It was like a light bulb moment when everything else clicked!
They decided to have an elopement ceremony in Anthony’s Chapel with pictures following in the luscious garden.
One of my favorite moments of this wedding was walking through the gardens with the bride and groom. It was just the three of us and I was able to get to know the couple a little more in those moments. They told me about some of their favorite vacation spots, how they met, and what their future plans are.
They are so incredibly sweet! I could tell as soon as I met them they were meant to be together. Their joy was infectious.
Another part about weddings that I love is how family heirlooms are incorporated to represent family members who have passed away.
Lindsey incorporated a butterfly pin and an Angel pin to represent grandmothers who are no longer with them. The ring that Lindsey wore had an opal surrounded by rubies placed in a yellow-gold band. This is a thing that was passed down from her mother. Her mother saved up her money and purchased this ring when she was 14 years old.
