The Barn At Lost Creek | Brianna & Christian | Wedding
I had the honor to capture an enchanting outdoor wedding amidst nature’s breathtaking beauty! As a wedding photographer, I’ve been privileged to capture countless love stories, but this one truly took my breath away.
The happy couple, Brianna and Christian, exchanged their vows surrounded by lush greenery and the soft melodies of chirping birds at The Barn at Lost Creek. It was like a fairytale coming to life.
This one was the most relaxed wedding I have ever photographed. Brianna and Christian’s wedding incorporated both of their cultures of Romanian and American ancestry. It was so fun to learn more about Romanian culture.
The Barn at Lost Creek is a photographer's dream venue! This was my first time to be there and it is now one of my favorite venues.
The owner, Margo, did a top-notch job preparing for this special day. The pergola was decorated in white tulle, lights, and luscious greenery. The altar was also decorated with tulle lovely summer flowers and a rustic chandelier.
The first look was an amazing moment that even made me emotional! Christian turned away and when Brianna was ready she turned him around. He got emotional and was in complete awe of how beautiful she was in her gorgeous wedding dress.
It was so fun to be a fly on the wall to see this beautiful moment between the two of them. As a first look is hands down one of my all-time favorite moments on a wedding day.
Following the intimate ceremony we took photos with the wedding party and family. Even though it was a hot summer day, we were able to make the most of it and have an amazing time celebrating the lovely couple.
My top favorite memory of this wedding was when we were able to take a break and do “husband and wife portraits” in the big lawn area that the venue offers.
Margo set up chairs in the field where we sat and talked. I was able to visit with Brianna and Christian and learn more about their story. It was such a relaxing time to sit and enjoy one another’s company.
Brianna shared with me that her mother passed away from cancer a few years ago and a reminder of her was a red bird. Throughout the entire day, red birds appeared and it was as if her Mom was visiting Brianna on her special day to let her know she was there.
Once we were done with “husband and wife portraits” we walked into the reception. Let’s just say the reception was so fun and the food was incredible!
Brianna and Christian incorporated so many personal details that made the day even more special. One of my favorite things was baggies of their favorite candies! Christian’s were Mamba Fruit Chews and Brianna’s were peanut M&M’s. I thought this was such a nice touch to include some of their favorite things at their wedding reception.
Following the reception they had one of the most unique send-offs that I have seen. The guests lined the walkway and held glow sticks. With the black night as a backdrop, the glow sticks were so bright and colorful. I thought that was such a fun way to send off the happy bride and groom.
Brianna and Christian,
Thank you for entrusting me to share this lovely day with you. It was a joy to get to know both of you. This was one of my favorite weddings that I have photographed. Every detail was planned so perfectly. I will cherish the moments of us sitting in the field together talking and getting to know one another.
Hugs, Hannah
