Hi Sweet Friends!

Maybe we’ve met in person, maybe we haven’t, but I hope one day we do! I’d love to share a cup of coffee with you and hear all about your story and how you got to where you are now. All about your family, your adventures, your business, your blog, your passions, and more! I crave to know you.

As women, I believe we crave connection. We want to know we’re not alone in this thing we’re doing called life. It isn’t just happening to us but other wives, mommas, and business owners are out there too experiencing the exact thing!

So can I take a couple of minutes and share what has been on my heart?

My journey has had valleys, and it has had mountain tops. Right now, I feel as though I’m in a weird place. A place where it doesn’t fully have a “title.”

As a 3 on the enneagram, that’s hard. I’m a “titles” person. I like everything in order with fine lines and direction. But right now, my life doesn’t look like that.

And I’m betting, yours may not either.

You see, as a wife, mama, business owner, and blogger (just a few of my “titles”) things can look blurred and a bit messy. That’s a rough spot to be.

Praying through this, trying to navigate what direction to go is never easy. But the one thing that keeps coming up in just about every direction I turn is “TELL YOUR STORY.”

So.. I decided to give in and tell you a bit of my story. As I sit here on my comfy bed, coffee on my nightstand, and kiddos having quiet time, I lay my heart on these pages.

Vulnerability is never easy! But from experience, it’s the one thing that connects us, because we can relate. In a world full of Pinterest perfection,  it’s hard to live up to that.

Although, really, who is living the Pinterest perfect life, because if that’s you, I want to meet you! Heck, I’ll even buy your coffee just so we can chat!

Seriously though, most of us don’t live in that world, and we are all just trying to make it. Make it to what though?

I heard it said this way recently, “Everything that you’re doing now is to paint a picture of the end goal…”

After thinking about that quote, what is your end goal? I know all of ours might look different and that’s okay! They should be because we’re not all created to be the exact same. How boring would that be!

For me, opening up my heart and being transparent…

My end goal looks a lot like this…

Living a joy-filled life side by side with my incredible husband, beautiful children, and enjoying that life with a community of friends. We’re making a difference in this world. Shining a light so bright that people just wonder what is happening. We have a business together that is thriving, impacting, and encouraging lives around the world. Together we are making a difference for Christ and our community. We love, and we love big.

Now, I say this because this is my heart. It’s scary to put these words out there. It’s scary to share my passions and my dreams. But what I do know is that there’s power in speaking them out!

So my sweet friend, what are your dreams? Maybe you're struggling with a title yourself, but do you know your end goal? Do you know where you’re going? Do you have a plan?

I was just thinking about this coffee cup in my hand. The cup didn’t just appear, but it was created, molded. There was some sort of mess in the process to get to that “end goal” which of course is me holding it and drinking the yummiest coffee ever!

Friend, I want to encourage you, and frankly myself, to push through these messy times. We may not have the GPS directions to every twist and turn of the process, but if we keep our eye on the “end goal” then we know where we’re headed. We can create a plan and navigate through the mess knowing what we’re reaching for.

Do you know where you are headed? Give yourself 15-20 minutes to enjoy a cup of coffee or whatever your choice of drink is to think/write/draw…however you best get stuff out on paper.

DREAM.

IMAGINE.

PLAN.

MOVE FORWARD.
