Picture-Perfect Fall: Stylish Outfit Ideas for a Memorable Photoshoot
Every year I always hear the same questions… “What do I wear to my fall family photoshoot?”
So I thought I would help you out and give you some ideas. Now, I’m not the type of family photographer who likes everyone to be 100% matchy, matchy. Yes, I want everyone to look good together, but the days of white shirts and jean pants are long gone. Trust me!
For Women
It’s always flattering to wear a flowy dress if you are debating on a few different outfits. Now, which that said that doesn’t mean pants are out of the option… but when in doubt, pick a elegant fun dress. I mean how often do we get the chance to dress up!?
For Men
A nice sweater or button up paired with a plain color pant and nice shoes is always a winner. Again, just like women how often do men get to dress up and show off? Why not pick your family photo session to do just that!
For The Kids
This is where you can have fun with color and patterns. If you’re not basing your outfit on the women, then bring in some fun accents from the kids outfits. For little girls throw in a cute bow and for little boys do a hat or a bow tie, that is hands down the cutest!
Pro Tip
Have fun. I know family photos can be a bit stressful when planning, but remember to have fun. My goal isn’t to make this a stressful time but a memorable timeless memory captured. This is more then pictures, it’s documenting your legacy. OH! …and if you have littles, always bring snacks or candy as bribes. ;)
